Today was my day off from work. I did the dishes, cooked breakfast, lunch and supper, and catered to the whims of my 4 month old daughter. I'm pooped.
I'm sitting here and making myself write. I'm tired and I don't really feel like it. The voice of Cesar Milan, the dog whisperer is on my television. I like Cesar. I'm in awe of his ability to train dogs and I think what I'm most impressed about is that he is a behaviorist. He is very knowledgable about the behaviors of dogs. He talks a lot of "calm submissive states" and being the leader of the pack.
This reminds me of the movie "Eight Below". I wasn't entirely happy with the movie. I hated that the dogs went so long waiting for that guy to return. And the guy seemed to have just given up for awhile. But it was interesting how they protrayed them as a pack and how the pack worked together. I wonder how much truth was in that or how much was just for entertainment. I wonder what Cesar would say about the movie.
