With orange stripes and a belly so white
and the sweetest little nose.
You were the best in the kitty cat fight,
with Morris the cat, I suppose.
We took you into our home and heart;
all of us with maybe the exception of Tigg.
And like some cats, you weren't so smart,
but when you purred in our laps, our hearts grew big.
It was that fateful day, several years ago
when you were water-squirted by a kid,
that you decided to find a new home to go.
and of your orange presence we were rid.
Well, thanks a lot! Goodbye you didn't even say,
You left after we paid for your shots and a fee.
And I hope that a little girl puts you in frilly dresses today,
and parades you in front of Morris and his friends to see.
